and it all begins again

This year I plan to buy fewer compact discs and attend more live music events. Let's see if this is a resolution that I will uphold.

Last year the music of John Zorn finally clicked for me, so one of my goals for 2010 is to increase my Zorn collection. Yesterday I came upon these used discs:

1. John Zorn -- Music for Children
2. John Zorn -- Filmworks II
3. John Zorn -- New Traditions in East Asian Bar Bands
4. John Zorn & Sato Michihiro -- Ganryu Island

I also recently purchased tickets to see John Zorn's Masada Sextet in March at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Can't wait!
